There are two scholarship applications available:
1) The MCA Scholarship Application applies to all scholarship funds currently available through The West Virginia National Guard Foundation.
2) The National Guard Youth Foundation Scholarship apples to all scholarship funds currently available through The National Guard Youth Foundation.
National Guard Youth Foundation Scholarship
Through the efforts of the Foundation, businesses and industries can become active contributors to those youth who are working to change their lives in positive and productive ways. Sponsors include: Merrill Lynch, Wal-Mart Foundation, SAIC, National Interest Security Company, HealthNet, Information Manufacturing Corporation, Kaseman LLC.
PROMISE Scholarship
The PROMISE Scholarship is a merit-based financial aid program for West Virginia residents. Students who achieve certain academic goals are eligible to receive funds to help pay for college. MCA Cadets must attain a 2750 minimum score on the TASC. Additional requirements for MCA Cadets to be eligible for the Promise Scholarship are provided in the table below. The ACT, SAT, and Promise Scholarship applications are done in the Post Residential Phase of the Program by the Graduate and their Family. American Red Cross Scholarship
The “Making a Difference Educational Scholarship Program” is sponsored by the American Red Cross. This scholarship is eligible to schools that hold two blood drives each year.
